Thank you for your generous support

Many Thanks!
From time to time, it is very appropriate to publicly thank those who have generously donated to the funds our organization supports.
Many of you are familiar with the William Self Scholarship Fund. This endowed fund uses earnings generated from its invested money to provide a modest scholarship to a former boy of the choir who is pursuing a program of higher learning. Generous donors to this fund since 2006 are:
Elaine Gow, in memory of Bill Gow Roger and Pat Saari Carlon Ober Joseph Papaz Donald Graham Wayne Partridge, in memory of his parents
A newer fund has been established to support choir activities that the church is unable to underwrite. This money is to be used for such things as camperships, travel, hymnals, or in whatever ways we are able to help. Some of this was given as an endowment, while some is directly available for choir use. Generous donors to the Activity Fund since 2006 are:

Our sincere thanks to each of you for the generosity you have shown. Pleae note that we can only acknowledge donations sent to the Association.
Those who have sent in their $50.00 donation in general support of Alumni Association will be recognized in a future edition. Everyone's support is needed.
Gerry Condon's "Post Its"
We received a note from Raymond Fogg. He sang in 1929 and 1930. In those days three years was required to earn a Gold Cross, so after two years Raymond qualified for a sliver cross. He sends his best wishes to the choir for a good trip to England, and notes that he had an ancestor, William White, who came here from England on the Mayflower!
We hope you'll get to the reunion weekend, Raymond. If you can't make all events, the Sunday
Service should be a knockout. I look forward to meeting you sometime over the reunion weekend
Lately, there has been some friction between Worcester, UK and Worcester, MA. The cities are on record as being "twin" cities to promote tourism and commerce. A Worcester reporter visiting our sister city found them unhappy as they have not seen any results generated from this 'twining". Even their letters have gone unanswered. Our new Mayor was unaware of the twin city program.
Because of the publicity of the choirs' upcoming England cathedral tour, Peter has been pressed into "diplomatic" service by our Mayor to help mend the rift.
Correction: In the last Robing Room, Arthur Godfrey was listed as wanting only half of The Eight Bells. We've been told that it was the Original Amateur Hour that wanted only four of The Eight Bells. Thanks for clearing that up, Ann!
