The Period of the Law Panel (left): Superimposed on the shaft of light in the apex are the tablets of the Law. The upper medallion shows Abraham's attempted sacrifice of Isaac; ~ in the center Moses views the Promised Land; the lower shows Ruth, David's great grand-mother and a Gentile, committing her child to the care of Naomi.

The Davidic Panel (center): During the period Saul, David's predecessor as King, becomes the first real monarch of the Hebrews and unifies the nation. The Star of David is at the apex, with the humble shepherd boy playing a harp and watching his sheep; ~ the center medallion is the story of David and three men who risked their lives for a drink from the well in his hometown of Bethlehem, which was held by the enemy; the lower shows the building of the Temple.

The Period of the Prophets Panel (right): The cloak, symbol of prophesy, is being handed down from Elijah to Elisha at the apex. The upper medallion is that of Amos, the father of social justice, entering the marketplace to speak out on behalf of the poor. ~ The center medallion depicts Job and his troubles trusting in God even though the Devil holds a pitchfork to his back. ~ The lower medallion is that of Micah who, in spite of all the troubles the nation sees, holds the conviction that peace will prevail.

The Old Testament Window was given in memory of a former choirboy Robert Conroy from All Saints who was killed in Italy in World War II. There exists a tie between Robert Conroy and the young David, both boys from the country and sharing a love of music. It was Robert's love of animals that led him to train with the canine division. He laid down his life for the cause of freedom and peace. In the lower corners of the Davidic panel are the head of a dog and the K-9 symbol of the Army division with which he served.
