The Baptistry
|
| The memorial windows of the Baptistry represent saints in their youth and were done by Connick of Boston. On the left is Saint Francis of Assisi before his conversion. Richly dressed, he is surrounded by the birds he loved so well. On the right we wee Saint Philip, the apostle, bearing a tall cross, his symbol, with the Lamb of Innocence. At his feet are fish in water, bringing to memory the feeding of the multitude. |
