The Chapel

| The Chapel, which is set apart from the South Transept
by wrought iron gates. These gates were created by Samuel Yellin, who
did the same type of work for Washington Cathedral. The polychromed "Christus Rex" or Christ the King, that hangs above the free-standing altar is the first cross used by the early Church. The Five windows in the Chapel illustrate the five prayers of Praise, Commitment, Penitence, Listening and Petition. |
