Join us for these evening offerings:
Swords into Plowshares:The Transformative Power of Reconciliation
Co-sponsored by the Kairos Center and All Saints Church to commemorate the 10th anniversary of September 11, 2001. This three part series invites us to hear stories of transformation by people who have experienced great violence in their lives, and yet chose to respond not with more hate and violence, but with forgiveness.
*Friday September 9, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. “Beyond Belief” (a film by Beth Murphy about 9.11 widows who responded to their loss by developing bonds with Afghan widows)
*Tuesday September 13, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. “Beyond Retribution” (a film about those who lost family members as a result of 9.11, the Oklahoma City bombing and the war in Iraq.)
*Thursday September 15, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. “Becoming Agents of Reconciliation”
 (Noelle Dattilo leads this evening’s program on conflict, reconciliation and transformation.)

A Heart of Prayer: Turning Our Hearts and Minds Toward God in All Things
Four Wednesday evenings, 7:00 – 9:00, focused on praying throughout our lives and days:
                *October 19: “Praying With and For Creation”, led by Margaret Bullit-Jonas
                *October 26: “Praying in Times of Difficulty”, led by Mary Beth Robinson
                *November 2: “Praying for Peace and Pursuing It”, led by Nancy Small
                *November 9: “Not Monks But Praying Always Anyway”, led by Nuala Cotter, R.A.
United Congregational Church, 6 Institute Rd., Worcester; $15/session

Join us for these year-long offerings:

Living in Ministry: Peer Coaching for Pastoral Leaders: an ecumenical program designed to support clergy in their pastoral, professional and spiritual lives, through regular gatherings and intentional life-coaching relationships within the group. Co-sponsored with the Boundless Way Zen Center, and led by Nancy Elder-Wilfrid (Transitional Pastor, United Congregational Church; Director, Kairos Center; spiritual director) and David Rynick, a professional life coach and ordained Zen Sensei. Registration deadline September 12th.
First Meeting: October 13; tuition for the year: $425.

Living with God: Prayer, Community and Practice: a nine month program building spiritual community through shared prayer and reflection in on-going small groups. Led by Susie Allen (Associate Pastor, UCC Boxborough; spiritual director; musician) and Nancy Small (hospice chaplain, spiritual director and retreat leader), with groups meeting monthly in Acton and Holden. Registration deadline September 7th.
First meeting: September 17; tuition for the year is $220

Join us on retreat:

“Graceful Calm, Peaceful Presence”: Join us for the 6th annual Kairos fall retreat: a gift of spacious and gentle time, as we gather at the beautiful wooded retreat setting of the Barbara Harris Center in Greenfield, NH! The retreat begins with supper on Friday and ends with lunch on Sunday. Led by Nancy Elder-Wilfrid and Susie Allen.
Friday October 14-Sunday October 16
Cost for the retreat is $300; deadline is October 3.

Centering Prayer: most 2nd Mondays of the month, 7:30 – 9:00, at All Saints (9.12, 10.3, 11.14, 12.12)
Labyrinth Walks: an opportunity for prayerful walking the labyrinth; dates to be announced.
