The internationally renowned cathedral choir of men and boys
from Worcester in the UK is touring in the United States and one of their performances was at All Saints Church in their sister city of Worcester, Massachusetts. The Worcester Cathedral Choir has a strong and vibrant musical tradition that has been sung for at least 1000 years.  The choir is renowned across the world through its many recordings and frequent overseas touring.  This was their fifth American tour and the third time in the recent years that they have performed at All Saints Church in Worcester, MA.  The 16 boy choristers attend The Kings School, adjacent to the Cathedral, and are ages 8 to 14, and together with the Lay Clerks (the adult members of the choir), they all join to sing the daily services - about 300 per year on average.  The choir performed choral works by Worcester, England natives Sir Edward Elgar and Thomas Tomkins, as well as works by Parry, Phillips, Stanford, Weelkes and Walton, along with solo organ works of Bach and Hakim.
